Time For Recess *

Lacrosse has been a part of my life since 2013. It gave me more than a sport—it gave me a community that carried me through some of my darkest moments and celebrated my brightest ones. But when my college career came to an end, I was left wondering if that sense of belonging would disappear too.

Every athlete eventually enters the "after" era of their career, whether they're ready for it or not. Some become coaches. Others get consumed by work, family, or life and never find another opportunity to play. One day, without realizing it, we all played our last game and were left figuring out how to channel that same grit, competition, and love for the game into something new.

After Hours was created to bring that feeling back. The long tournament weekends. The sideline conversations. The postgame recaps that somehow lasted longer than the game itself. The friendships that felt like family. The simple joy of being outside with people who understood you.

That part of you never disappeared. So why not give yourself permission to find it again? Whether you're returning to the game after years away or picking up a stick for the very first time, After Hours is a place where everyone belongs. You deserve to keep doing the things you love, no matter what era of life you're in.

Welcome to After Hours. Welcome to your new era.

FAQs

Do I need experience?

1

No you do not need experience. From open play to wellness sessions, every option is perfect for beginners and those beginning again. I run programming that stresses the need to solidify the basics. All I ask is you come as you are and play as you have.

What if I don’t have equipment?

2

No need to worry, After Hours provides all of the equipment needed from goals, balls, sticks, and field space.

After Hours asks that you bring workout clothes, sneakers, and a waterbottle. If you already have cleats, you can bring them as well, just make sure they are not metal ones. If you already have equipment you are free to bring whatever you normally use when playing lacrosse.

3

Refund and weather policy

6

Refunds will be issued on a case-by-case basis, and in instances of inclement weather, we will work together to find the best makeup day. For Open Play and Theme Nights, you may attend the next session free of extra charge to make up for the cancelled session.
